Finish Note

All Dolph-MW models include an surtec/corrosion protection treatment and are painted flat black. Flanges are unplated, polished and surtec. Other finishes and paint colors are available upon request.

For flange code references, review Waveguide Flange Standard EIA & IEC.

Check the Complete Bulkhead Interface

For a project-specific build, send the installed interface rather than only the WR size. The main inputs are the finished barrier thickness, cutout and mounting pattern, pressure medium and differential pressure, gasket requirement, exact mating flange designations, and the dimensional or RF checks you need reported.

Barrier Thickness, cutout, mounting holes, access and backing structure
Seal Pressure medium, differential pressure, temperature and leakage limit
Flanges Exact designation, aperture, bolt pattern, groove and orientation
Verification RF test, dimensions, pressure or leak-test acceptance criteria as required

Have a Drawing, Existing Part Number or Non-Standard Wall Thickness?

Send the available drawing or interface data. Dolph Microwave states that custom waveguide assemblies can be built from detailed drawings or simple sketches, with machining, forming, brazing and testing handled in-house.

Need the Waveguide Line Itself to Hold a Pressure Boundary?

A bulkhead feedthru mounts the waveguide through a wall or panel. If your requirement is a sealed RF window inside the waveguide path, review the Waveguide Pressure Windows family instead.

For replacement or project-specific sealing parts, see Waveguide Gasket, Die Cut.

Different Waveguide Family or Routing Requirement?

For broadband double-ridged interfaces, use the separate Double-Ridged Waveguide Bulkhead Feedthroughs range. If adjoining routing needs a flexible section, review Seamless Flexible WG.

For complete WR flange codes and standard references, use Waveguide Flange Standard EIA & IEC.
