1.8/2.4M Quick Deploy Antenna

The 1.8/2.4M Quick Deploy Antenna is a portable, high-performance satellite communication solution designed for rapid setup and breakdown. Ideal for temporary installations and mobile applications, it offers exceptional reliability and signal quality for various operations, including broadcasting, emergency response, and remote communications.

1.8 m / 2.4 m Quick-Deploy Satellite Antenna Systems

Dolph Microwave 1.8 m and 2.4 m quick-deploy antenna systems combine segmented carbon-fiber reflectors, pre-assembled tripod mounts, adjustable supports and airline-checkable transport cases for temporary and mobile satellite links. The model data sheets provide Ku-band receive/transmit performance and also note X-band (Military/WGS), C-band and Ka-band options. Typical applications include satellite news gathering, emergency response, government field operations and communications at remote sites.

Transportable SATCOM Platform

Rapid field deployment with model-specific RF and mechanical performance

The 1.8 m and 2.4 m systems use precision-assembled reflector panels and rugged support structures for establishing high-speed satellite communication channels in temporary or remote operating environments.

Reflector panels are inspected for RMS accuracy using laser measurement techniques. The systems provide coarse and fine pointing adjustment, polarization travel and transport configurations designed for field deployment.

Configuration and data-sheet notes

The RF tables above reproduce Ku-band linear receive/transmit values. The data-sheet headers also list X-band (Military/WGS), C-band and Ka-band options, while the feature list states that Ku and Ka band feed systems are available. Confirm the selected band, feed system and interface for the ordered configuration.

For transport planning, use the model-specific data: 2 airline-checkable cases for the 1.8 m system and 7 airline-checkable cases for the 2.4 m system. Both listed weights exclude the BUC.

The current 2.4 m data sheet prints the final Case 7 dimension as “1150 × 710 × 680 m.” Confirm the intended unit with Dolph Microwave before final logistics planning. The model data sheets state that the systems are designed and made in China.
